Caleb is an energetic and enthusiastic 8 year old who loves sports (any and all sports), being outside, and playing with his friends. The start of 2022 was a tough one as he had 3 bone graft surgeries within 4 months. Each surgery required a 6 week recovery period where he was on strict dietary and activity restrictions, which was tough for our active boy. But he made it through and was fully recovered just in time for his first Mia Moo FunDay.
We are overwhelmed by the support the Mia Moo Fund has been to our family. Not only did the financial assistance help us during a time when the medical bills were pouring in, but the encouragement we received from other families at the Mia Moo FunDay was invaluable. Having the chance to spend the day with other families who have walked through similar struggles was just what we needed after a tough year. We are so thankful for this organization!
