September Reflection
Hey guys! Mia here! I don't know about y'all, but this month has felt super long! I am so tired of the hot weather, I am definitely excited for fall! This month I turned 21! My family and friends came into town and we celebrated by going to a concert, eating some good food, and just spent time with one another! Truly such a special birthday and I felt so loved!! I also got to visit my sweet sister in Washington D.C. and catch up on some much needed sister time. The rest of my time was spent doing lots and lots of homework! This is by far my hardest semester, but I am totally still enjoying school! Hope September was amazing for all of you! We are getting ready for the MiaMoo Funday that is coming up so soon! I can't wait!!! Love you all! XOXO, Mia

SEPTEMBER RECIPIENT Hunter loves spider man and his monster trucks. He is very shy but will warm up. He is so strong he has such a big heart and is so sensitive, we couldn't be more blessed to have our sweet hunter. He has been thru several operations for cleft and we couldn't feel more blessed to get assistance from Mia Moo Fund. ~Hunter's Mom

SEPTEMBER RECIPIENT God blessed us with sweet Everly in July, since she the moment she was born she has been a fighter. Everly was born with bilateral cleft lip and palate. With all the joy came struggles. Everly has needed more attention and medical care than my other kids, but God never gives you more than you can handle. We are forever grateful to the Mia Moo foundation for helping us during our time of need. ~ Everly’s Mom

"My favorite thing about MiaMoo Funday" by Jase Robertson (Mia's Dad).
"I have often said my biggest fear in life, especially when I was kid, is public speaking. Which seems comical because I do it a lot these days. So when Mia asked me to write about my favorite thing about MiaMoo Funday, it reminded me of my childhood. As a kid I was so afraid to be asked anything because then I would have to speak, out loud, in public! My favorite thing is actually similar to the awakening I had when I ‘came out of my shell’. My favorite thing is when the buses are unloading, there is an awakening I sense and see from each family that suggests ‘we are no longer alone.’ Even though my circumstances were different before my awakening, a faith in the Lord Jesus brought my family together! That faith gave us confidence, and taught me to be outward focused. It also taught me that no matter how difficult the journey, it’s not good to be alone and that’s my favorite part of the MiaMoo Funday and life itself…we’re not alone!"
