WHAT'S NEW WITH MIA
Mia has always been active and enjoyed cheer and sports, so she has joined the soccer team this month at her new school. She played soccer when she was four and five years old with two championship teams, so hopes are high that she can tap those skills once again! The 6:30 AM practice time each day before school gives dedication a whole new meaning, but playing alongside her cousins, Lily and Merritt, has made it all worth it. Go Defenders! |

FAMILY NEWS

Thanksgiving Day is all about thanking the Giver for all of our blessings. At the top of our family’s list is the blessing of our family being together, even if it’s just for a few hours. It’s always a challenge to be together, especially with grown children, college-age children and children at home. Our own family is currently living in four different states, which makes it even more important to be intentional about our time together. Covid has brought detriments of all kinds into our lives, even taking away the lives of close family members. It makes it even so much more important to cherish our time together. The Robertson family keeps on growing with even more babies being born in the next coming months. What a blessing new life is! However, we understand the health risks involved with being together right now, and we want to encourage you to take those precautions while still sharing these precious moments as friends and family. Be thankful for the big things AND the little things. Be thankful for growing family. Be thankful for heritage. Be thankful for memories. Be thankful for each other. And above all else, be thankful to the Creator who so lavishly gives it to each of us.

NOVEMBER RECIPIENT
Noah is from Mississippi and is a new recipient of the MMF. He was born with Van Der Woude Syndrome and that caused his cleft issues. He has already had 4 surgeries in his young life. Noah is a happy, talkative 14-month-old who is so full of life. He is his family's little superhero. They like to call him “Super Noah”. Please pray for Noah and his family.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Tabi is from Colorado. She was adopted from Bishkek Kyrgyzstan
and arrived in America just shy of her 3rd birthday. She was born with significant facial clefts, cleft lip and palate and a cleft in her left eye socket. Despite multiple surgeries, including one year in Chicago with a world-renowned eye surgeon, Tabi thrived! Tabi graduated from high school Magna Cum Laude in May of 2020 and just completed her freshman year of college with a 4.0 at Colorado Mesa University. She has a passion for medicine and is pursuing a degree in trauma nursing.
Tabi loves to travel, skateboard, and is an amazing photographer!
