David was born in January of 2025 with a bilateral cleft lip and palate and has been my little snuggler since his first few hours after birth. His favorite spot has been nestled up under my chin! He has gone through the NAM procedures, extreme eczema, two cleft surgeries, failure to thrive and gain weight, slow to reach developmental milestones, and food allergies to peanuts, eggs, dairy, and soy. Even through all of this he has been a calm baby; only fusses when he’s hungry or in pain, and overall, a very happy baby! We have been blessed that even though he has had some severe diagnoses, his “walk” through them has been the absolute best possibility from less than desirable circumstances. We will be forever grateful for our surprise son that God knew we needed, and we are beyond blessed that his circumstances has not been worse than what modern medicine can fix.
