Brenson was born in March 2025 with unilateral cleft lip and palate. His medical team recommended Nam placement that started at 3 weeks old until his first surgery to repair his lip and nose at 4 and a half months. In the beginning, it was difficult to enjoy the little things because we were running back and forth to appointments sometimes twice a week until his first surgery. His cleft repair was completed at 10 months old. Despite Brenson facing many trials and tribulations during the beginning of his life, he is the happiest baby with a big personality. He always wants to be busy, in everyone else’s business, and never meets a stranger. We are very thankful for Dr.Hoppe and his team at UMMC for taking extra special care of him. The Mia Moo Fund has been a blessing to our family and we will be forever thankful for everything they’ve done!
