Merry May!
May Reflection
Hey guys! It's Mia here! This month I finished my juinor year of college! Wow this has been a hard year! My classes have definitley gotten harder, so cutting my time with friends has been a hard change, but... it's summer, so resume time with friends! This month I also start my summer job at Camp-Ch-Yo-Ca! If you know me, you know I love all things camp! The campers get here tomorrow, so I am so so excited for them to get here!
This month has been filled with pickleball, swimming, and spending time catching up on reading, but it has also been a season of grief. As you know, my beloved grandfather, Phil Robertson, passed away on May 25th. You guys have donated so much to Mia Moo in honor of his life, and we thank you so much for your willingness to give in times of sadness. Thank you for your prayers and love for our family as we navigate this difficult time. Thank you MiaMoo family!
I love you all so much! Have an amazing summer cleft cuties!
xoxo,
Mia

MAY RECIPIENT
Savannah has had her last (hopefully) surgery this past summer. She was a senior at Brownsboro High School in Brownsboro, Tx. and graduated this month with honors and a 4.0 GPA. She plans to go to college for criminal justice in the fall either at Sam Houston State University or UT Tyler. She has been in the band for the past 7 years playing percussion. Savannah has been in powerlifting for the past 3 years and loves it. Thank you Mia Moo Fund for all you have done for our family and many others.
SPOTTED!
Mia and her family having an amazing family dinner outside enjoying the nice weather! This was during a week of grief, and having a little joy of just being together was the best medicine!
Hey y'all!!
Our verse for this month is Ecclesiastes 3:11 which says, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."
If I am being honest, when I was growing up, it was so hard to consider myself beautiful. I was always having surgery, which made me look different, and it was hard to navigate all of the changes that were made. But I knew God made me in His image, so I knew I had to be beautiful right?! So slowly, I started to believe it, and you can too! It definitely took time to really believe this, but once I truly did, wow was my life so much sweeter! I left a sticky note with this verse on it in my bathroom, and the more I saw it, the more I believed it!
So, if this is something you are struggling with, know that you are not alone! You are beautiful and perfect the way you are! Remind yourself daily of this and over time, you will know without a doubt that you are made in His perfect image! Love ya!
With love,

Mia
