January Reflection

HELLO 2023!
January Reflection

Hey Y'all! It's Mia! This month I became an auntie of two! We welcomed David Silas Robertson this month and he is the cutest little baby ever! I also started my second semester at Lipscomb University and I am learning that it is ok to miss home now and then! I am praying for all of you and I hope you are having a fabulous 2023 like I am!

Xoxo,

Mia

MEET HENRY - JANUARY RECIPIENT!

Our precious son, Henry, is 8 years old. He is originally from a southern province in China.  We have been so blessed to be Henry's parents for 3 years now. He has had two cleft pallate surgeries so far and is one tough cookie! Henry has had many challenges in his life and handles them with a stride that amazes us all. He has quite a clever mind and can put complicated things together that no one else in our family can seem to manage.   He loves to play basketball and golf! Henry is a master fort builder. He changes locations of his forts about every 2 weeks disassembling and reassembling! Henry is one special boy and we are one special family to get to have him in his forever home!  ~ Henry's Mom

UPDATE ON GRADY - JANUARY RECIPIENT!

Grady has the kindest and most loving heart of anyone we've ever met. He loves to listen to music, read, play video games, and spend time with his brothers and pets. He is in 7th grade and especially likes geometry and history. He has recently become interested in how video games are made and hopes to study more about it. His cleft journey has not always been easy, but it has helped shape him into the wonderful young man he is and we are so proud to have been chosen by God to be his parents. ~ Grady's Mom

UPDATE ON NOAH - JANUARY RECIPIENT!

Noah is a wild and spunky 3 year old, who loves everything to do with superhero’s! Little does he know, he is our very own real life superhero! He has been through so much in his 3 years of life, and he shows his amazing strength through every single obstacle he faces.~ Noah's Mom

SPOTTED!

Mia and her mom having a girls night out! These are the days!
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

Toby was unexpectedly born with unilateral cleft lip and palate, but that has not stopped him from living life to the fullest!  He loves Jesus and his family!  He also enjoys school and all kinds of sports and activities.  Piano, singing, basketball, and football are some of his current favorite hobbies.  He loves to watch when the Oklahoma Sooners play basketball and football and watches the Oklahoma City Thunder all the time.  He is often praised by his teachers for being a cheerful leader and friend.   We are so blessed to have him in our family and be a part of the Mia Moo family!

We are so thankful for the Mia Moo fund, as it has helped us with Toby's dental expenses and given him an even brighter and bigger smile!  It is such a worthwhile fund to donate to, as it is a tremendous blessing and help to cleft families who face numerous financial obstacles and burdens.  We can't say enough good things about the Mia Moo Fund and how it has abundantly blessed our lives!

~ Toby's Mom
