January 2025

Happy 2025!
January Reflection

Hey y'all! Mia here! This month, I started it off in the best way—with my grandparents! We watched movies, drank hot chocolate, and just had fun spending time together! After that, I headed back to Nashville and started my second semester of junior year! I am taking another full load of classes, and they have definitely picked up these last few days! Nashville did get a break from school for a little bit because we got a snow day! It was one of my favorite days this month because my roommates and I simply spent time catching up, playing cards, and trying new recipes!

I ended the month by returning to the camp I work at during the summertime to be a counselor for a weekend! It was so, so sweet, and I got to catch up with so many of my best friends I haven't seen in so long!

On another note, this month felt super long, and I am not sad it's over! Hopefully, summer comes soon!

I hope this month was amazing for all of you guys! Y'all ROCK!

Xoxo,
Mia

JANUARY RECIPIENT
Hi, my name is Dev! When I was just 16 weeks old in my mommy’s tummy, the doctors told my parents that I have a cleft lip and palate. At first, they felt scared and confused because they didn’t know much about it. But they loved me so much that they started learning everything they could to help me. Now that I’m here, thanks to Mia Moo, I’ll soon have my forever smile!

Hey y'all! !

This year, our new segment will be "Bible Verse of the Month"! If you have a favorite verse, email it to us! We love you, and you've got this!

I chose 1 Timothy 4:12 because this verse has always been one of my favorites growing up. When trials (or surgeries) came my way, I always wanted to try my best to still radiate the teachings of Jesus. Sometimes I failed, but I never gave up, and I hope you never do either.

As cleft families, you go through a lot of trials, but you still persevere. You guys are truly rockstars, and I hope you know that!
                                                     -Mia :)
