Happy Love Month!
February Reflection

Hey friends! It's Mia! This month I got to do a lot of very fun and simple things! I got to leave college and go back home to Louisiana for a long weekend, have fun at Mardi Gras, celebrate GALentines Day with my sweet friends, and spend some quality time with my mom! It is finally getting warmer here in Tennessee and I could not be more excited! I am already counting down the days till summer! Hope everyone had an amazing month! Love you all!

Brixlee is a beautiful 1 year old, that loves everything to do with music! She loves to eat snacks, her favorite snacks are grapes and bananas! She’s got big blue eyes that light up the room and through all her surgeries she still smiles and giggles constantly!  ~ Brixlee's Mom

Noah is 11 years old. He was born in China and we adopted him at the age of 3 1/2. He is the happiest and most positive kid on earth. He is curious, kind and has the biggest heart. In China he was hospitalized a lot for cleft palate surgeries. They were unsuccessful on closing his palate. As soon as we got him home and started surgeries here it all worked out. Thanks to our great surgeons. He has gone through so much in his little life. Yet still he finds positive in everything. He is truly our real life super hero. We are forever grateful for the Mia Moo Fund. ~ Noah's Mom

!!! New Recipe for the month !!!
We will be doing a new recipe of the month to help children who are undergoing those tough surgeries! Whether you are on a liquid diet, a soft food diet, or just someone who is always down to try new foods, these recipes are for you!
This is one of my favorite recipes ever! It got me through my recovery and I still love it today!

Approximately 1 pound of ground beef (we put in mini chopper after browning to make as fine as possible)
1 8oz can of tomato sauce
2 cans of water
1 6oz can of tomato paste
Season with 1 tbsp minced onion, 1 teaspoon oregano, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of basil, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.

Mix together and cook on 325 degree for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Top with grated cheese and more basil

*Cook covered in cast iron skillet for best results!

Jade was born on October 18,2006. With a unilateral cleft lip and palate. That has not stopped her from being a fun loving kid. She loves cooking, animals and going out on the river fishing with her dad. We are so blessed to have her. I can still remember the days when things would be rough and she would tell me it's just lovely. She used to tell us that she might be different but that's because GOD made her that way for a reason.

The Mia Moo fund has been such a blessing to our family. The Mia Moo fund is a great fund and help to families not only financially but also emotionally.
