FEBRUARY RECIPIENT
Karter is 10 years old. He has had 2 surgeries and is getting his expander to get ready for bone graft surgery later this year. He really loves music and video games. He is the most thoughtful and kind boy, and he is extremely funny! Please keep Karter in your prayers for successful expander and surgery. ~ Karter's Dad
SPOTTED!
Mia and her roommates at a very exciting fútbol game! Rain or shine still a good time! Because the stadium shakes so hard from excited fans, often times the other team thinks an earthquake is happening! So crazy and so fun!

POSITIVITY CORNER!
This year we are bringing something new to the newsletter! We want to hear from you! You can send us advice, encouragment, an accomplishment, or even a fun story! Email us!

Starting us off is Mia herself!

Hey everyone! This month I wanted to share with you Psalm 30:11-12, "You turned my lament into dancing; you removed my sackcloth anc clothed me with gladness, so that I can sing to you and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever." There is a new joy to be found in every new morning! I know some of you have surgeries coming up, or are going through the recovery process now. I wanted this to be encouragment to you that you can take it day by day. Yes it is okay to have bad or hard days, but tomorrow is a brand new day! He has the power to turn your sadness and pain to gladness and healing!

WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

Tabi was born in the country of Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia. She was born with multiple facial clefts, cleft lip and palate, and a cleft in her left eye socket. She endured many surgeries to repair the clefts. The majority of her surgeries were to build an eye socket to hold an artificial eye.

Tabi is 22 years old now! She will graduate from Colorado Mesa University in May 2024, summa cum laude, with a degree in nursing. Tabi’s heart is to care for those in trauma. Her goal is to land a job in Denver’s city and county hospital in their level-one emergency department.

We are so happy to be a part of the Mia Moo Family and we are forever grateful for Mia Moo for the financial help for Tabi’s orthodontia care! ~ Tabi's Mom
