December Reflection
Hey y'all! Merry Christmas! This month was full of highs and lows! The first half of the month was all about finals. Not sure how I managed on so little sleep for two weeks, but I definitely caught up once finals were over, and I came back home to Louisiana! Once I was home, my month consisted only of highs! I got to spend much-needed time with my parents, grandparents, all my girl cousins, and, of course, my siblings. We ate some of the best food I have ever had in my life—most of which my dad and I caught ourselves! During this break, I am reminded once again of the steadfast love of our Savior, Jesus Christ. My cup is overflowing this Christmas season, and I hope that your cup is overflowing too! I hope this next year brings all things good and sweet! Love ya! Xoxo, Mia

Hey y'all! It's Mia again! I wanted to write the final encouragement segment of our Newsletter myself to express how grateful I am to all of you. I know many of the families who read this Newsletter have faced one or more surgeries this year that have been challenging both mentally and physically. I just wanted to remind you that you’ve completed another year in your cleft journey! All of us at MiaMoo are so proud of you and all that you’ve accomplished!
If next year brings more surgeries, I want to share this verse to encourage you as you continue running the race set before you: Romans 5:3-5 "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." You’ve got this! Bring on 2025!
