Awesome April!
April Reflection

Hey y'all, it's Mia! This month felt like the longest month ever!! I am currently in the middle of finals, so it feels as though I have been studying for years!
At the beginning of this month, I heard my first tornado siren (which was so crazy)! I hope you all stayed safe during the storms too!
This month it also stayed warm most days in Nashville soooo I had to go hiking a time or two! I went to two waterfalls and had the best time ever!! I got to see so many sunsets this month, which made me get so excited for another summer in Louisiana!
I spent my Easter with my family, and got to see my brother lead worship, which was so sweet and amazing! I hope you guys also had an amazing Easter!
I am wrapping up the month trying to finish my schoolwork and I cannot wait to be done! Tomorrow is my last day! Woohoo!!
I will see y'all next month! You guys rock!
xoxo,
Mia

APRIL RECIPIENT
“Our sweet Tate is 4.5 months old & was born with a bilateral cleft lip & palate. He received his NAM when he was just 10 days old and has made tremendous progress with it. He will have his lip repair surgery in just a few days. He has proven to be a tough boy, being born 5 weeks early & enduring two GI surgeries already so we have no doubt he will rock this one too! We are in awe of our boy and he is so loved by many including his older brother & sister. We are beyond grateful for Mia Moo & the blessing they have been to our family!”

SPOTTED!
Mia and her three camp besties all reuniting for a fun day of camp fun! They cannot wait for summer! What fun trip are you doing this summer?
Hey y'all!!

Our verse for this month is Philippians 4:13 which says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
This month has been a challenging month for me. There have been a few really big changes in my life and I have been having a hard time navigating them. This verse keeps replaying in my mind and reminding me that God will never give me something that I am unable to carry and go through. This reminder has given me so much peace that only comes from the Lord and has definitely eased my worries.

So whenever you think that you cannot handle the next step on your cleft journey, remember that God has equipped you with His strength and his almighty power! He also has you and your family in the palm of his hand. We love you all so much and we are always here for you! You got this!
With love,
Mia
